The Blue Fire and Kundalini

Kundalini is very much misunderstood in Western culture. In the west we equate the breathing, touching and eye-contact techniques as purely sexual. But they are not.

Yes, Kundalini is the life-force energy, which is also sexual energy. But in order to use this energy and to direct it and experience higher states of consciousness and, yes — bliss with a partner — means to contain and direct this force, NOT to succumb solely to the pleasure of pure sexuality.

Actually, the deepest secret of Kundalini and sex is the concept of the Heiros-Gamos or sacred marriage which unites the male and female principles together in order to achieve higher states of consciousness. This union allows the Male and Female aspects of God to express themselves physically through the two partners.

The male and female aspects of God are represented in the physical body as the Red flame and the Blue flame. The Red flame travels the Right side of the spine (the masculine side of the body) the Blue flame represents the physical expression of the divine feminine principle. It travels the Left side of the Body (the female side of the body).

When both are activated they form a circuit and make a figure 8 around the body, create a hissing sound in the ears and make the whole body feel kind of like a wind-tunnel. This hissing (or frying) sound is one of the reasons that the Kundalini is depicted as a Cobra in mystical drawings. At this point there it’s a journey into the psychic realms. This is also known as a psychic awakening or spiritual awakening. This whole experience creates a whole-body/spirit kind of ecstasy that goes way beyond sexuality. It is also possible to achieve it without a partner and without any form of sexual connection with another person.

If you’ve ever taken LSD then you have a small understanding of what this journey can be like. the difference is that, not only do you NOT need drugs to take this kundalini voyage – drugs will get in your way and harm your vehicle (your body).

True shamanism uses this energy and has access to it without drugs, violence or substances. Spiritual awakening and psychic development take place through breathing, energetic balance and self-mastery.

Kundalini awakened in unhealthy ways (usually through the use of drugs or violence) can lead to certain forms of mental illness, psychosis and a loss of touch with reality, this is known as Kundalini syndrome. This is why kundalini practices are actually very strict and emphasize the mastery over one’s own impulses – this is a prerequisite to being able to awaken and use kundalini energy.

The Blue Fire is the energetic representation of the Divine Female Essence inside of the body, specifically in connection to the Spine. Not everyone has their kundalini awakened – and for good reason. We are naturally protected from hurting ourselves with the power of this energy until we are able to handle it. It takes certain development before we are actually ready to manage the awakened Kundalini energy in our body. Blue flame, or blue fire connects to the ‘Blue Pearl’ which is the pineal gland in the middle of the brain. It is an intensely psychic center and opens psychic knowing, access to the akashic records, spirit guides and enlightened masters, and eventual enlightenment for ones self. This is the true goal for using the Kundalini energy.

Psychic Readings, Shamanism & “100th Monkey” Syndrome

The idea of the 100th Monkey comes from a nature observation that took place on an Island in the Maldives about the native Monkeys. On this Island, every Mother Monkey used to teach it’s young how to wash it’s food to get rid of dirt – a banana, potato or other root that was dug up – in the stream. This was a common thing that all Mother Monkeys taught to the young.

But then one day something significant happened, a new Monkey was born and already knew how to wash it’s food in the stream. It never needed to be taught. What was more amazing was that EVERY Monkey born after this was also born with the knowledge of how to wash it’s food free of dirt on EVERY Island in the Maldives. After that it was no longer taught by the Mommy Monkeys, it wasn’t necessary.

The idea of the 100th Monkey has come to represent a leap in consciousness, or a level of group ‘knowing’ that no longer needs to be taught. The idea is that once enough people have a skill or knowledge set that it then becomes part of the collective unconscious and then everyone just KNOWS it.

This idea has been around for ever, and is also referred to as the Akashic records in the magical or psychic world. The slight difference is that the Akashic records are a place where all memory and experience, past present and future is held and where a mystic, psychic or shaman can tap in and draw out the information and knowledge as needed. The hundredth Monkey syndrome on the other hand is when an idea or piece of knowledge becomes common knowledge for everyone.

Studies have been done that show all decision making takes place at the subconscious level. Before a major decision there is a bust of activity in the subconscious mind, which stops once the decision becomes conscious.

The benefit of working with a psychic or Shaman is that they are able to dip down into the collective UNCONSCIOUS in order to draw out wisdom and information to solve problems or heal. This is a level of awareness that isn’t usually available in normal every day life. The difference between a simple psychic and a shaman is that the psychic can only ‘look’ at what is going on, but the Shaman can fix, heal and resolve the problems. The world of Nature and it’s vast experiences, is, to the Shaman, one way that God speaks directly to us about ourselves, our lives and our purpose here.

When the 100th Monkey syndrome happens, it means that something that was once part of the collective unconscious has now become a part of the collective conscious – and is suddenly common knowledge.

The Psychic Voyage – Psychedelic or Not?

The last time I smoked pot I was 14 years old.
It was such a horrible and paranoid experience for me that I never wanted to repeat it. After all, I was already going on these kinds of inner journeys without the aid of outside substances.

The first time I did drugs is another story altogether – that actually happened BEFORE I was born.

Growing up in the counter-culture hippie movement taught me a lot about drugs and their uses and misuses. Since I was always psychically open through all this, I learned that drugs were a real no-no for me personally, it was just too, too much.

But many people who want to pursue an inner journey do want to use drugs and other substances to get there. I found a website that does a great job of giving the overview on what this is all about, you can take a look HERE at Deoxy.

About 10 years ago, I did a channelling where the guides said in no uncertian terms that there “were no schools at this time on planet earth that were capable of handling or teaching the mysteries that the substances of drugs offered.” They went on to warn that each substance has it’s own level of consciousness, and therefore it’s own agenda. This was enough for me.

Of all the people I have known who have used substances to further their journey, none of them have opened in a way that I consider particularly enlightened or enlightening. On the other hand, I have known several who have died from it, and far more who have slipped into something resembling insanity.

Back in the day, when I first started doing psychic readings for clients, I worked at the Psychic Eye Bookshop in Venice Ca. One day, this guy came in to have a reading from me. He sat down in front of me and started asking me all these questions about his studies. I just couldn’t stop staring at the area above his head. I’d never seen anything like it before in my life. It looked like a funnel cloud was coming out of the side of his head – you know, like the hurricane that lifted Dorothy off to OZ.

So I asked him if he did a lot of LSD. He looked startled for a second, then said .”yes” and went on to tell me about all the dozens and dozens of times he’d done it. I told him to stop, that it was causing damage to his Aura, and that it may already be past repair. To me, it was like creating an extra bypass valve on your heart in order to get your blood from one side of your body to the other; both unneeded and dangerous.

You see, we can do all of this stuff naturally. This is what the deeper mysteries of yogic breathing and buddhism are all about. In fact, the body has built in fail-safes to keep you from causing damage or going past the areas where you aren’t ready to go. Using drugs bypass these fail-safes. That’s why people are attracted to them. That’s also why they are dangerous to your psychic and spiritual development.

And in the end, the drugs are not a shortcut to spiritual development. Quite the opposite actually. What happens when someone starts to lean on a substance to access the inner realms is that the substance becomes the goal or ‘god’ of the experience. And real spirituality is lost on the journey.
